One of the much-awaited Hindu annual festivals is Ganesh Chaturthi. The eldest child of Lord Shiva and Goddess Durga, Ganesha is also named Ganapati or Vinayak. He’s revered as the deva of intellect, the messiah of individuals from distress, and a patron of art. Moreover, he’s the one with the tusk, Ekdanta, and also the face of an elephant, Gajanana. ganesh chaturthi

It is celebrated in the month of August. Animated rituals, prayer offerings, extravagant embellishments, and sweets, with various public performances span over 10 days. However, at the end of this period, the visarjan or idol immersion takes place.

How is the festival celebrated?

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated in homes, at temples, and also within the public spaces where huge decorative pandals or mandaps are structured to accommodate the clay idols of Ganapati. In homes, people install small clay statues or place an image of Lord Ganesha at the entrance, hoping for an obstacle-free and lucky new beginning. ganesh ji

For public celebrations, funds are collected and pandals are built. Beyond the religious significance, this sees a spur of cultural activities. Singers and theatre artists perform on stages on one side and, most places also see blood donation camps, free health check-ups, donations, and food distribution among the poor.

Further, aarti songs or bhajans dedicated to the Lord reverberate within the air. Post the 10th day, the idol is taken out on a procession and immersed in a nearby waterbody. As there’s a whole lot of singing, dancing, and chanting ‘Jai Ganapati!’ that goes on during Visarjan, making it one celebration.

How GANESH CHATURTHI 2020 IS DIFFERENT?

Every year enormous gatherings and celebrations were there, but this year every festival seems to be celebrated in a different way. Due to the pandemic situation of COVID-19, we all are bound to stay at home and not to gather in masses. But this year try to do the visarjan at home only. Further, be more creative and eco friendly by making a handmade chocolate GANPATI. And do their visarjan in a bucket full of milk, so later you can distribute the chocolate milk to poor kids. And you also can drink. In this way, you’ll celebrate a safe and eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi. GANESH-CHATURTHI

Day-1 (ROAD TRIP- DELHI TO DALHOUSIE)

I started from Delhi to Dalhousie with my friends, endued with enchanting beauty, certain tranquility of its ambiance, and also the serenity and sacredness of its culture. As we started our journey in the evening so we plan for dinner at Karnal. We reached Karnal at 9.00 P.M in the evening so we were having enough time to have a delicious dinner. Then we started our journey towards Dalhousie. It took almost 9hr to reach Dalhousie from Karnal. The road is pretty good if you follow the Hoshiarpur-Pathankot-Dalhousie route. After the sweltering heat in Delhi, it felt good to experience pleasant weather when the bus entered the state of Himachal Pradesh. The attractive hilly landscape was a treat for the eyes. dalhousie

FIRST SNOWFALL OF MY LIFE IN DALHOUSIE

We reached Dalhousie at 7:30 AM and there was snowfall going at that point which gave a beautiful twist to our trip & then we straight went to our hotel to have some rest. Moreover, the location of the guest house was awesome & it was surrounded by thick trees & was on the tip of the mountain. The weather was soothing with cool healthy air which you’ll never experience in Delhi.

It is built on and around five hills. The roads of Dalhousie are famous for their shape as 8. The roads surrounding the two adjacent hills joints, to create an 8. The curving road and also the jaw-dropping cliff on one side of the road did nothing to assuage our troubled hearts. Thick forests of pine and deodar covered Capitol Hill slopes with the trunks of the trees easily some feet wide.

HOTEL DESCRIPTIONDALHOUSIE HEIGHTS

Our hotel was near Lover’s Lane & we decided to go to the St. Francis Church at Subhash Chowk that evening. One will love the architectural great thing about the church. It’s a very old church built by English men within the early 19th century. dalhousie

Then we decided to walk to Gandhi Chowk around 2 Km. we loved each & every moment of the walk which was filled with ecstatic natural beauty. I actually have never seen such beautiful mountain views in my life before.

We got a beautiful view of the snow-capped Pir Panjal range of mountains surrounded by thick forests of pine and deodar trees at Mall Road.

Day-2 (LOCAL SIGHTSEEING OF DALHOUSIE)

We wake up at around 8.00 in the morning & plan to just have a decent stroll in the morning to adore the natural beauty. After having our breakfast at our hotel we track down the mountain to reach the famous Laxmi Narayan temple. Moreover, we decided to track it till that place. One of the people was also going to the same place so we decided to follow him. We thanked him for such a beautiful gesture & hospitality. dalhousie

The track was 2.5Km from Lover’s Lane & took 10-15 minutes to succeed in the temple. We seek blessings at the temple & decided to move on. Afterward, we came back to our hotel and enjoyed the Dj Night and Bonfire.

Day-3 (DALHOUSIE TO KHAJJIAR)

We planned to go to Khaijjiar often called “mini-Switzerland of India.’ and drove towards Gandhi Chowk from Panchpulla where another road climbs up towards Lakkadmandi/Khajjiar (as a little signboard guided us). On our way to Khajjiar, we first reached Dainkund Snow Point and enjoyed ourselves there in the snow. dalhousie khajjiar

We reached Khajjiar by noon as roads were blocked from the snow. A green valley with a spring within the middle, Khajjiar is known as ‘mini-Switzerland of India’ for its meadow look. Although, it looked a bit like Gulmarg, a good-looking hill station within the state of Jammu & Kashmir. There, we mostly engaged in fun activities and sightseeing which included the Khajjiar lake and a few forest trails nearby. there have been vendors everywhere selling foodstuffs, candy floss, balloons, etc. Our Khajjiar trip plan was perfect!

EXPLORING KHAJJIAR

It was for exploring the Scotland of India – the gorgeous Khajjiar. Undoubtedly, Dalhousie is surrounded by gorgeous lakes, pastures, and forests. One can enjoy just sitting in the grass, staring at the flowers, and soaking in warm sunlight.

Post that, by evening, we came to the hotel just in time for dinner and a bonfire. This really uplifted our spirit even more. A bonfire was exactly what we needed to give warmth from the biting cold. After singing and dancing around the bonfire we went back to our rooms and called it an evening.

Day-4 (WAY BACK TO DELHI)

This was our last day in Dalhousie so we had an early breakfast and left quickly for Delhi as it started heavy snowfall. On our way back to Delhi, due to heavy snowfall and rainfall, we got late on our way and we reached Jalandhar by 7 PM and had our dinner over there. And enjoyed the games and had a photo session at Jalandhar Haveli. And around 10:30 we started our journey from Jalandhar to Delhi, and we reached Delhi by 6 AM the next morning.

The trip was full of fun and enjoyment, moreover, our phones were full of memories {pictures and videos}.

  • The remembering of information that is stored.

* You can improve your recalling by strategies to increase the effectiveness of recall hints, including contextual hints.

* Vivid associations: When learning something new and unfamiliar, try pairing it with something you know very well. Such as images, puns, music, etc.

* Pulling it all together: By arranging and adding meaning to the material prior to learning it. You can facilitate both storage and retrieval. memory

* Pay attention: It takes about eight seconds of intent focus to process a piece of information through your hippocampus and into the appropriate memory center. So, no multitasking when you need to concentrate. If you distract easily, try to receive information in a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted.

* Involve as many senses as possible: Even if you’re a visual learner, read out loud what you want to remember. Try to relate information to colors, textures, smells, and tastes.

Summers are pleasant, however, Kufri loses its charm due to lack of snow… For individuals searching for tons of snow that cover the city or for an honest skiing vacation, December to February is also the simplest time to go to.15 km from Shimla, Kufri is well-liked for its fine views of the snow-capped mountain peaks. Though it’s a year-round destination, Kufri in December is excellent for adventure individuals. You must visit there.

At this point, many of us visit Shimla Kufri for the weekend and luxuriate in snowfall. If you’re going to visit where you want to take a yak horse ride. Pack your warmest clothes so you’ll relish within the snow rather than shivering in cold.

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND WITH FULL FUN & ENJOYMENT!!!

WORK FROM HOME

The year 2020 shows and teaches so many new things to all of us. The pandemic hits each and everyone at some point. COVID19 made everyone to sit at home and do everything inside their home only. And since March 2020, everyone is pursuing their work from home only. As per the guidelines even after unlocking, still so many offices and workplaces are closed. In order to follow SOCIAL DISTANCING, everyone prefers to stay inside and have a safe environment to complete their works. I spent a good deal of time reading about working from home. I would scour the corners of the internet to find any work from home opportunity that was out there. my creation

In that time, I learned about legitimate ways to earn extra money online, how to find freelance work, and where to go to when looking for some of the best jobs leads around (all while getting some practical advice, too!). What I feel while staying home, and doing the work is all I tried to sum up in these given points.

Some WORK FROM HOME etiquettes every company and managers must know:

1. Work from home doesn’t mean that the person is available anytime. Make a proper schedule and fix the timings, and avoid disturbing beyond it. As another person has their own life too except for the work. As this pandemic hits the mental health of every individual.

2. Video calls must be scheduled in advance. Don’t just video call, as it may hamper the privacy of the employee. One must understand the privacy of every individual. There are a lot more things to get a fix before coming on a video call.

3. Weekends are still weekends and don’t just drag the work on weekends too. In order to get productivity on weekdays, just grant holiday on the weekend as earlier it was. Employees can relax and also complete their pending personal works on weekends.

4. Message before making a call if you hate being “not picked at the first time”. Informed before as there could be many reasons for not picking at once…nature calls, taking medicine, handling family or bad weather, or network issues too.

5. Every individual is giving their contribution in completing their work. Everyone gets paid for their work. So start appreciating each other for more positive outcomes.

CONCLUSION

Be sensitive to your employees as the concept of WORK FROM HOME is also new to them. Do trust their honesty rather than assuming anything against them. As no one wants to sit at the same place inside the same 4 walls. It is difficult for everyone to deal with this situation where every place is closed. No way of physical entertainment, Netflix, and watching movies sitting at home is not going to give complete mental peace to anyone.

Let’s try to help each other and stop criticizing anyone!!!

7 Safety Measures To Save Yourself From COVID-19.

Is this a LOCKDOWN 5 OR UNLOCK 1’. Now it’s time to reopen town, city, nation, and the world, and now we are entering into a ‘Post Lockdown or a Pre Unlock which means more people on the road, more connection with each other, and more infected people from ‘COVID-19’ come across the world. It’s time to take more safety measures to save yourself from ‘Coronavirus’. As you are a number for your government but you are everything for your family.

my creation

In this situation of ‘COVID-19’, everyone feeling scared to travel out of their houses as there’s no proper vaccination that has still been found but we got some freedom in this lockdown period to go out for emergency work, and to prevent ourselves from this ‘coronavirus’, try making these five small adjustments to make sure that you are following the most effective practices for general infection prevention and control. These adjustments aren’t focused on COVID-19 but are health tips that may prevent the spread of the many common illnesses, including the flu and the cold.

1.Practice good hand hygiene.

It sounds simple, but it’s true: good hand hygiene helps prevent the transmission of a virulent disease from one person to another. It’s time to take more precautions as lockdown is going to get converted into unlocks. Too often, people only wash their hands when they’re soiled. But, viruses and bacteria present even though your skin looks clean. To keep your hands clean, wash them using soap and water for a least of 20 seconds. The hand-washing time will vary from person to person, but it’s always a great idea to clean your hands before eating, after using the toilet, and after sneezing or coughing.

If soap and water aren’t available, an alcohol-based sanitizer is often used instead.

2.Maintain social distancing

 What is social distancing?

Social distancing means keeping a distance between yourself and people outside of your home.

*To practice social distancing:Stay at least ‘6 feet’ (about 2 arms’ length) from people.

*Do not go to ‘groups’.

*Don’t go to ‘crowded places’ and try to avoid ‘mass gatherings’.

‘Social distancing’ is an important way to cut down the spread of ‘COVID-19’. And it is important that you follow the social distancing recommendations in your community, whether you’re in one among the high-risk groups or not.

Stay connected while staying away. It’s important to remain in contact with friends and family that don’t live in your home. Do Call, Video Chat, and stay connected using social media.

3.Avoid coughing or sneezing into your hand.

Covering a cough or sneeze could appear like something that is done out of excellent manners, but it goes a touch beyond that — you must avoid coughing or sneezing into your hand whenever possible. my creativity

Instead, attempt to cough or sneeze into a tissue. If a tissue isn’t available, try and cover your cough or sneeze using your elbow/upper arm. After coughing or sneezing into a tissue, throw the tissue away. Be sure to clean your hands after a cough or sneeze as well!

4.Use a face mask!

Face masks are a tool utilized to avoid the spread of disease. Face masks are covered pieces of designed stitched cloth that cover the nose and mouth.

Disposable face masks should be used once then thrown in the dustbin. You must remove and replace masks after they get moist.

Always follow instructions of using and storing the mask, and procedures for the way to place on and remove a mask.

How to placed on and remove a face mask?

*Wash your hands with soap and water or sanitize your hand before touching the mask.

*Avoid touching the front of the mask.

*Remove a mask from the box and ensure there aren’t any holes in any side of the mask.

*Know which side of the mask is the top. The side of the mask that contains a stiff bendable edge is the top and is supposed to mold to the form of your nose.

*Know which side of the mask is the front. The colored side of the mask is the front and will face far away from you, while the white side touches the face.

*If you are using a mask with ties: Then take the bottom ties, one in each hand, and secure with a bow at the nape of your neck.

*Pull the bottom of the mask over the mouth and chin.

*At the time of removing also, follow the same instructions (as in point 1).

*From your 1 finger remove the Ear loop from one ear and then from the opposite side.

*Throw the mask in the dustbin.

*Again wash your hands with soap and water or sanitize your hand.

5.Stay home if you’re sick.

While it’s admirable to be dedicated to your job or to your studies, it’s not a good idea to go into work if you’re sick. You’ll think you’ll be able to power through the day, but you run the danger of infecting those around you!

If you’re not feeling well, stay home and let yourself recover. If you have to go out in public, try to wear a mask to avoid infecting others.

6.Consider alternatives to shaking hands.

Extending a handshake may be a common greeting or sign of respect, whether closing a deal or meeting someone for the first time. This implies that shaking hand with others come with the danger of passing bacteria or viruses on to another person.

my creation

This is a relevant change during standard cold and flu season too, not with COVID-19. Something like an “Air Five,” A Fast Wave, or A Nod will be a decent substitute for a handshake. If you’re afraid you may seem rude by declining a handshake, there’s no harm in explaining why.

If you do find yourself in a situation where you’re shaking hands with a variety of individuals, it’s always a decent idea to wash your hands or sanitize your hand afterward.

7.Try to avoid touching your face.

Touching the hands of people isn’t the only hand-related practice to lessen: you must try and avoid touching your face with your own hands too!

It’s an honest idea to avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. If droplets containing the virus made their way onto your hands, touching your eyes, nose, or mouth would be the way to transfer into your body. Good hand hygiene will lessen the possibilities of these droplets existing on your hands in the first place. But trying to limit how often you touch your face is another good step to take. my creation

Conclusion

Making these small adjustments will go an extended way toward helping you avoid a variety of common illnesses, not Coronavirus. If you’ve got symptoms that match those of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath) and travel history or close contact with a patient of a confirmed case, you should contact your care provider.

Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Healthy!!!

5 Things Lockdown Has Taught Us

The Lockdown Has Taught Us That We Cannot Take Anything without any consideration. This lockdown has been a learning period for everybody, I am sure we have learned many things during this lockdown.

Cooking and baking are not an enormous deal

1. At the beginning of the lockdown, we saw people putting up pictures of them baking, cooking, and laying out delicious meals for their families. Now, we have never been an exceptional cook, approximately we thought. With many outstanding cooks within the family, we always put ourselves last in line.

I have been a working girl who did not pursue baking as my passion even though baking to be the simplest sort of cooking. This lockdown gave me an opportunity to rediscover this hidden talent in me and to several others. So, at some point, I assumed what the heck let me try something and that I made ‘Panipuri’ with my mother. And since then I have not stopped.

Lockdown has taught us what is important in our lives and what is not.

2. The lockdown experience is like being on a roller coaster ride, and it causes you to discover what is essential and what is not. The list of essential items begins with food – staple fare like rice, and atta, and daal – and medicines. The list of essentials items also includes newspapers, which become even more essential at a time of crisis.

Build better relationships

3. If you are sure what to find out during the lockdown, it is worth giving some thought to improving your relationships. Emotional intelligence is a useful skill that will impact all areas of your life. improving your communication skills can help in your personal and professional relationships.

Sit down with your partner to discuss everything that is on your mind and make a concept for a way you are aiming to handle it as a team. Create a shared calendar with all your tasks and responsibilities, and spare out specific times for when you are reaching to do them.

Set some healthy boundaries:

If you are both engaging from home, carve out separate workspaces. If you will be able to close a door between the two of you, that is ideal. Try to give one another space during the day. If you will limit your verbal communication. Try texting instead.

It is normal to wish for alone time. Be creative about how you will carve out that point. Be creative with date nights. Try visiting a museum online, reading a book to every other, or cooking an elaborate meal together. Taking the time to figure on your own wellbeing can bring improvements to your everyday interactions with the important people in your life.

Learned new skills

4. Although the World of people seems bad for several people at once, things will not always be so up within the air. When we are considering what we learned during the lockdown, we must improve our professional skills, and get ready for when the planet reopens. By taking an introductory course or studying the new subject, we will get a feel of whether it is the proper fit.

There are all types of hard and soft skills that we will start learning about. Even a little amount of study can support our existing knowledge and broaden our horizons. From there, we can believe the kinds of areas which will be most beneficial or interesting for us.

Languages

Learning a new language brings many benefits. It could help us to attach with new people, improve our cognitive skills, and permit us to travel. By taking a language course during the lockdown, we could put our new skills to the test once the lockdown is over.

Communication and Wellbeing

5. The ability to communicate with our friends, relatives, co-workers, and people in our lives is usually underappreciated. Yet it is what brings us together and lets us understand one another. During this lockdown period we can learn why communication is valuable, and the way we could improve our own skills and learn something. Moreover, taking care of our physical and emotional wellbeing is usually a positive move. Our relationships with others help us to take care of a healthy work-life balance, understand others’ thoughts and feelings.

The pandemic provides a perfect opportunity to reconnect not only with others but with ourselves. This can be a time to strengthen our relationship within the family at an equivalent time.
